There are two seating configurations available for the spacious 2024 Subaru Ascent — the standard eight-passenger seating and available seven-passenger seating. If you opt for eight-passenger seating, both the second and third rows will have bench seating. If you don’t need the extra seat, the seven-passenger seating may be more attractive, as it offers second-row captain’s chairs so your older children and teens have some extra elbow room. When you want to take full advantage of the cargo capacities available, both rear rows, when equipped with bench seating, have 60/40 split flat-folding seatbacks.
