Interior Features & Cargo Space Available
The 2025 Subaru WRX interior is stylish and sporty, and it comes standard with performance-design front seats for optimal comfort during your drives. If you opt for the GT or tS trims, your front seats will receive an upgrade to RECARO® performance-design seats. Most WRX trims come with black seat upholstery with red stitching or bolster accents, with the exception of the tS trim, which stands out with blue side bolsters and interior accents. Heated front seats are standard so you and your co-pilot can fully relax no matter the time of year.
Behind the second row of seats, you’ll find up to 12.5 cubic feet of cargo space for your groceries and backpacks. Need to expand that space further? The 60/40 split-fold bench seat can either be partially or fully lowered so you can make room for larger items.

Engine & Performance Specs
You’ll experience precision handling and energetic performance behind the wheel of the 2025 Subaru WRX. The included 2.4L turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® four-cylinder engine is standard with a fully synchronized six-speed manual transmission to place gear shifts directly in your hands. If you choose the WRX GT trim, this six-speed manual transmission is traded for a Subaru performance transmission with eight-speed manual mode, paddle shifters, and an auto vehicle hold function. All WRX models are equipped with summer high-performance tires designed for top-level handling.
To fully immerse yourself in the rally-inspired driving experience, you’ll want to consider either the GT or tS trims, which both come optimized with performance enhancements not seen on the previous trims. The Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-DRIVE®) engine performance management system enhances engine control unit regulation, fine-tunes the electronically controlled throttle, and adjusts the Subaru performance transmission when you opt for the GT trim. Turn to the new WRX tS trim for improved handling with its standard Brembo® high-performance brakes with signature gold six-piston front and two-piston rear calipers and STI-tuned four-wheel independent suspension with electronically controlled dampers.
